Alright, tasked by friends to promote the event.
SG VespaClub was setted up just 2 months back so they r on the lookout for Vespa-riders to make the club more lively :)

Next Saturday evening, gonna have a FREE bbq (halal too, not to forget our muslim riders!) at the condo G8, situated betw AMK & YCK MRT stations. For those who have nothing planned that evening, do pop by! We are REALLY a bunch of friendly ppl.... and considering its FOC, wun luugi much right! *winks*

M'sia Kulai trip

Some pics to liven up the site! hehe
Decided to tag along with the VespaClub members for my 1st overseas trip to nearby Malaysia, Kulai on Deepavali yesterday.

It was a nice day, not much haze, no sun, no rain. Perfect for a ride :)

Took these 2 pics after our brunch at Kulai at a nearby Pulai Waterfall. Well, we din see the waterfall cuz most of us lazy to ride all the way up so we just stopped 1/2-way up the hill.

I also tried to go up with gear2 but nope, cannot make it. The gear slipped and i was rolling backwards (together with me >_<") Had to switch to gear 1 to go up!

Hiccups aside, not a bad roadtrip. We were on North-South Highway for short while b4 we hit the small roads. The pot-holes there were humongous..... Had to swerve left-right-center. A very different riding experience compared to SG!

Till now, we are still in the process of gathering the riders in school, so give us some time ok? We also need to study one leh. =) Nevertheless, as what Rae has said, we have a weekly meetup for lunch every Friday (we'll announce where we are dining)... so if you're free on Friday, do pop by and say hi to us.

Don't worry, we won't eat you. I believe our lunch taste better. =)

Vespa WIRA - Caught!

Did a double-take when we rae, kk n moi saw this scoot. How come the side cowl has WIRA on it? LOL Dinno Vespa also ever team up with Proton b4... kekek

Anyway also summoned it. Let's see who the owner is?

Fellow vespa rider down!

Met Jamal (the rider of the vespa above) and got to know about his minor accident caused by a punctured tyre. He's all well and bike's at Tong Aik for repair and a makeover.

If you see a beige and orange ride in future, that could be Jamal's! We wish him well and hope to see his 'new' ride around campus soon! ;) Meanwhile...ride safe guys!

Spotted this yellow vespa parked at one of the halls. Can't help but notice the the non-stock headlight this bike has. Pls identify ur bike soon! ;)

kk and I believe that this belongs to an uncle. though bike condition ain't tt great.. can see trails of pattern design and even pinstripe on its fairing. dun 'pray pray hor'..might juz turn out to be a 'lacer'. =P

Spotted this black ET8(should be the model) tucked away between 2 cars @ SAO carpark. Hope owner respond soon! Meanwhile....search will go on!!! ;)

NTUVC - VCS Outing

In case the above abbreviation is too confusing, it stands for...
Nanyang Technological University Vespa Club - Vespa Club Singapore Outing

Though only 3 of us went for the outing (which is so pathetic), i hope the next event we hope to organise will have a more favourable turnout. Our classic vespas were completely drowned by the number of moderns that were present at the Yishun dam... scary...

But still, it is a place where friendship is forged, knowledge imparted, experience shared...

Ok, that previous sentence is crap...
Anyway, we are somewhere in the picture, at the back... and my Vespa can be seen in this picture! at the right corner...

It's official! Tried and tested!

It's official! PX150's fuel tank capacity's 7.5litres(including reserve)! ran outta gas today the moment I reached school.
Luckily planescape aka CY was ard to help bring me 500ml of petrol. if not I'll still be pushing bike now. :lol:

Thanx CY for the petrol! owe you one!@ and guys...pls do not push ur tank to limit like i did...chould have been stranded on PIE if i decide to overtake the SUV i was tailing.

Small Outing @ 7th Oct, Sat

Me and Rae have kinda decided to have a small little meetup

Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Chomp Chomp @ Serangoon Gardens
Activity: Park scoot, find place to sit, eat, chit-chat... after that, we'll be riding up to Yishun Dam to meet up with the Vespa Club Singapore guys, it would be a nice experience to meet other fellow Vespa riders.

if you're unable to join us for the meal, we welcome you to join us later, just to ride up to Yishun Dam...

i do hope you guys can make it, its ok if you can't...
we'll try to make one happen for you next time!
